How this site is built
No server, no database, nothing to patch. The whole site is pre-rendered at build time and served from a global edge network, and the charts are progressively enhanced.

- Pages ship as plain HTML. JavaScript loads only for the interactive charts on that page, and only once they scroll into view.

- D3 v7 + React islands
- D3 does the maths (scales, projections, layouts); React renders the SVG, so charts server-render and hydrate rather than popping in.

- Tailwind CSS 4
- One set of design tokens drives the page and the chart palette, so light and dark modes stay consistent.
- Content
- MDX case studies
- Each case study is prose with live components inline. Adding a new one is a single file.
- Hosting
- Azure Static Web Apps (Free)
- Global CDN, managed TLS and per-PR preview environments. Running cost: £0.
